Not a lot of riding today, spent several hours at Craters of the Moon National Monument, outside Arco, Idaho (where we are spending the night). Fortunately the day started out overcast and cooler, so the normal baking in the sun at Craters didn't really get going until about the time we left. Pics below.

UPDATE: For those you who may have gotten in early, we have added some more content. After dinner at a great little dive place called "Pickles Place" where we had the special Atomic burger (most delicious), we walked across the street to a park that had what appeared to be parts of a submarine. And indeed it was, the sail along with its planes from USS Hawkbill (SSN-666) "The Devil Boat", was placed in the park after the ship was decommissioned in 2000. Also there was a decommissioned MK-14 Torpedo, although not sure it was actually used in this class of sub, but the time-frames did overlap some. Couple more pics added at the bottom.
